Wooden seats better

I HAD to visit the optician's in the town centre on Tuesday and I had to wait for my transport home on Dial-a-Ride, which is a great service for disabled people. But I was dismayed to find that the wooden seats which used to be near the fountains have been moved, and replaced by some marble monstrosities that are very cold and uninviting to look at, and I would imagine that the person who designed them obviously does not have to sit on them. I was glad when my transport arrived to bring me home.
