I HAVE complained a number of times to the postal sorting office over letters going missing.

Approximately one month ago a recorded delivery letter went missing, somewhere between a card being left at my address and the letter being returned to the sorting office.

When I called at the sorting office over 48 hours later, they couldn't find the letter. This cost me time and money.

A replacement was sent to me, also recorded delivery, which I received before the original turned up.

Eventually another card was left that said the letter had been found. I no long required it, so it was returned to sender.

I've recently discovered two important documents that were sent to me never arrived. This again is costing me time and money I don't have. I phoned the sorting office, but there was no manager available.

The postal service used to be a reliable service, but not these days. There are a lot of people like me, who have to rely on the postal service to send or receive. We just don't seem to be getting the service we are paying for these days. Is it any wonder that the consumer is losing faith in what's becoming known as "snail mail".
