SATURDAY

WHILE England triumph in Germany, Sam Allardyce is in Malta checking out the talented Bulgarian national side who win 2-0 to go top of World Cup qualifying group three. Bruno Ngotty flies back to France after talks with Wanderers' chairman Phil Gartside and having undergone a preliminary medical.
