BRITAIN'S leading bird photographers and wildlife experts will be in Bolton between now and next April.
Geoff Leather of Bolton Members' Group of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds has lined up a packed programme of talks.
Events are held monthly at Smithills School, starting on Thursday, September 13, at 7.30pm.
There will be a talk and slides on British birds by wildlife author and freelance lecturer Colin Twist of Liverpool.
Graced
Visitors earmarked for future appearances include Mark Hamblin, whose photos have graced almost every bird book and magazine published in Britain in the past decade.
There are car and coach trips to many of England's best birdwatching haunts, including Leighton Moss, Silverdale, on Saturday, September 22.
Bolton members of the RSPB recently donated £11,000 towards a major reedbed extension to attract rare bitterns and bearded tits at the reserve.
