NEXT Monday is the AGM for the Bolton and District Winter Pool League at the Churchills, Manchester Road at 7.45pm. The committee are asking that all teams entering the Winter season have a member present at the meeting.

There are a lot of outstanding matches. Teams must play these matches and send the result in to the box at the Churchills no later than 8pm on Sunday September 23. After this date all results will be void.

The next knockout is the League Rules Individuals to be played on Wednesday September 19. Draw to be in next Saturday's BEN.

On Wednesday September 12 is the quarter and semi finals of the Pairs Knockout at 8.30pm. Winning pair to ensure that the result card is at the league headquarters (Churchills) no later than Sunday following the match. Any match cards not in at that time then players will not be entered in to the next round. All matches are best of three frames. Any game that is re-arranged then the competition secretary must be informed. Venues play to a winner.
