BOLTON Ladies football team recorded a thumping victory in their first home match of the season, beating Chorley Ladies 4-0.
Joanne Fairclough opened the scoring for Wanderers after 16 minutes, cutting in from the left to fire into the far corner. On 35 minutes, Kim Bain connected well with a cross to double the advantage.
Hotshot Fairclough then completed her hat trick with two goals in the second half. Nabeela Butt was named as player of the match.
In their second match of the campaign the Ladies added another three points this time putting Wigan Ladies to the sword and winning 3-1.
Nabeela Butt hooked the ball into the net for Wanderers first but Wigan struck back, breaking away to beat the offside trap and equalising eight minutes into the second half.
That simply stirred Bolton into greater efforts, and just 120 seconds later Jeanette Williams wriggled through the defence to restore the Bolton lead. A vicious shot from Ann Marie Taylor after 81 minutes gave a 3 - 1 lead which was enough. Player of the match was Clare Smith in central defence.
