KIND-hearted rounders players have helped out a seriously ill youngster.
Women's teams from all over Bolton donated the cost of their weekly subscriptions to research into the rare disorder Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva, which affects three-year-old Luciana Wulkan.
Lesley Grady, who lives in Bromley Cross and plays for Darcy Lever women's rounders team, rallied 142 teams from around Bolton and managed to raise £720
Luciana, from Astley Bridge, faces a difficult future after being diagnosed with the illness, which turns soft tissue in the body to bone until a second skeleton forms.
