I WONDER if Justice Collins, who ordered the government to open the doors of the asylum camp at Oakington Cambs, can now see the utter stupidity of his ruling.

If we allow those people to roam free, how many could be terrorists or followers of the terrorists.

Surely now the tunnel should be closed, or is it a case of closing the stable door after the horse has bolted?

If asylum seekers can sneak in, it must be a piece of cake for the terrorists. Our soldiers should be protecting and guarding both ends of the tunnel.

I remember what it was like to be bombed. I remember going to school carrying a gas mask. I also remember being marched out of class to air raid shelters, and it was frightening. I watched the "Pathe News" at a cinema, we didn't own televisions (unless you were rich). I remember the thousands killed, military and civilians alike, we can't take the chance of letting any terrorists in.

The ones in camps should carry identity cards, and be fingerprinted before being let out, so that the genuine ones are protected and the illegal deported immediately.

We have to defend our country and keep it free from any possibility of attacks by terrorists of any nationality. If we don't tighten up our laws and stop being a soft touch, we could just end up being surprised like the Americans, and a terrorist attack could happen here. So come on Mr Blair, get the laws altered. Dictate, don't be dictated to.
