A PIECE of Leverhulme memorabilia has been presented to Bolton Museum and Art Gallery.
The Friends of Bolton Museum and Art Gallery bought a silver inscribed vase from the sale at Thornton Manor for £1,280 and gave it to the museum.
The vase was originally presented to William Hesketh Lever when, in his capacity as mayor, he opened Leverhulme Park.
YOU can find out more about Lord Leverhulme with a talk and tour of Hall i'th' Wood Museum on Wednesday, September 26, from 7.30pm.
Admission is £2 for adults and £1 for children and concessions. For details, ring Bolton 332245.
