BUSINESSES can find out how they can "go for gold" at next year's Commonwealth Games by attending a lunch next Tuesday.
Peter Friend of the Commonwealth Games office will brief businesses on how they can share in the economic benefits of what will be the largest sports event ever held in this country. He will advise companies on how to get on to the tender lists to supply the event and on the longer-term business opportunities opened up by the Games.
The lunch, which will take place at The Longfield Suite, Prestwich Village, is being organised by Prestwich Business Forum and Bolton and Bury Chamber.
Tickets, costing £17 for individuals and £15 for multiple bookings, are available from Andy Alderson at the chamber on 01204 374693.
