I FEEL if Mr Cummings were to go in other districts of Bolton, he would see more places that look like slums.

But the blame cannot be all the Council's fault. If people took a pride in the front and rear of their property, streets would be rid of a lot of rubbish. But they don't.

I was brought up to keep the front and back of our house clean. Our streets were always clean and tidy, no need for street cleaners.
