ANYTHING Goes for members of Bolton Catholic Musical and Choral Society.
The group will be performing the Cole Porter musical from Tuesday to Saturday, October 23 to 27 with a matinee on the final afternoon.
All principal roles are now cast. Taking the leads are Siobain Barnes as Reno Sweeney and Gary Harvey as Billy Crocker.
Both previously starred in the company's production of The Hot Mikado -- Siobain appearing as Katisha and Gary the wily character of Pooh-Ba. However, Gary is probably remembered more for his performance as Phineas T Barnum in the group's 1999 production of Barnum.
Paul Stanley, the BCMCS choral musical director for the past two years, is swapping his baton for a pair of tap shoes as he takes the role of Sir Evelyn Oakley.
Neville Moss makes a welcome return to the Albert Hall stage as Moonface Martin.
Other main roles are taken by Angela Bryant (Hope), Kerry McCallister (Bonnie), Connie Rorrison (Mrs Harcourt) and Peter Smith (Whitney).
The show, staged at The Albert Halls, is set on board the transatlantic liner, SS American, and at the helm is producer Jean Horrocks. Musical director is David Wilson and Barbara Grant takes charge of choreography.
Tickets are from £6, and a 10 per cent discount is available for block bookings of 10 or more.
Further ticket information is available from Mrs Ann Blackburn on 01204 302602.
