TODDLERS put their best feet forward in a sponsored "Toddle Waddle" held to raise funds for the Meningitis Trust.
The event, which took place at Edgworth Cricket Club, was organised by members of the Scallywags Pre-School Committee, Edgworth, and was open to all children under the age of five.
Youngsters enjoyed pre-toddle fun by having their faces painted, playing with balloons and taking part in games such as hook the duck and pin the beak on Dizzy the duck.
Children then lined up and the start of the toddle was announced through a loudspeaker. To the sound of a tape recorder playing nursery rhymes, the toddlers used ribbons tied around poles as a guide and were helped by parents and carers.
After completing the course, the toddlers were presented with chocolate "gold" medals.
Other attractions included a cake stall, refreshments and a raffle with all proceeds going to the charity.
Committee member Janet Holden, who helped organise the event, said: "The children who took part are mainly from the village. They seemed to have enjoyed it and it is for a good cause."
The sponsor forms will be collected this week and the grand total will be forwarded to the trust.
Toddlers' fund-raising events are being held across the country until Saturday.
