LOCAL lass Lisa Stansfield is set to perform live dates for the first time in three years.

The Rochdale diva's tour includes a performance at Manchester Apollo on Sunday, September 23. And the BEN has two pairs of tickets to GIVE AWAY along with two copies of her latest album Face Up.

Lisa will be performing a one hour 50 minute set crammed full of hits like All Around The World, the club anthem People Hold On, Change and tracks from her current album including the new single 8-3-1.

The renowned singer, who now lives in Ireland, burst onto the music scene in 1989 and has since claimed three Brit Awards and a Grammy nomination, as well as making her mark on history by topping both the US Pop and R&B charts.

Her four previous multi-platinum selling albums have spawned numerous hits over the past decade and have established her as one of the UK's most unique and enduring talents.

Contrary to popular belief, Lisa was born in Manchester and her family only moved to Rochdale when she was aged 11.

She and her sisters were raised on a steady diet of Diana Ross and the Supremes, Marvin Gaye and Barry White.

Tickets for the Apollo concert cost £22.50 and are available on 0161-242-2560 / 0161-832-1111.
