The production will tour into five different venues in the North-west including the Romiley Theatre in Stockport and the Salford Playhouse.
Its home performance in Bolton takes place at the Theatre Church, Astley Bridge, on Thursday, September 27 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £3 and £2.50 concessions.
Not to be outdone, there is an all female performance of Steel Magnolias on Friday, September 28, also at the Theatre Church.
Proceeds go to the National Kidney Research Fund and Health Action Overseas which supports Romanian orphanages. This year's target is £3,000. Tickets are from Wendy on 07931 337764.
