WJ COLTS came out 4-3 winners over Leigh FC in a closely fought game between the fifth and sixth placed clubs.
Spectators were not disappointed as Colts opened the scoring in the 20th minute and increased their lead to 2-0 in the 35th minute through a disputed goal.
Leigh responded with a goal within a minute through Buck leaving the score 2-1 at half time.
Colts were quickly in their stride increasing their lead to 3-1 after 50 minutes. Buck scored again for Leigh five minutes later but Colts again reacted quickly scoring minutes later to make the score 4-2 in Colts favour.
Despite being on top for long periods of the game and creating a lot of chances, Leigh will be disappointed not to have capitalised on the opportunities and at dropping three points.
