THE policy of appeasement does not work with terrorists, never has, never will. Remember Chamberlain, 1939: "I have here in my hand a piece of paper from Herr Hitler."
Nevertheless, the Church and the liberal intelligentsia will be falling over themselves to placate the terrorists -- never mind the thousands of innocent people murdered; never mind the criminals who abuse people, or the teeny thugs who terrorise OAPs and teachers, or the drug takers and drug addicts who terrorise whole districts.
Their interests are the primary concern. If Hitler had not been stood up to, we would all be in slave camps now. The only reason for the triumph of evil is that good men stand by and do nothing.
Right has been made wrong and wrong right by politicians in our country. Do not fall into the trap of turning the other cheek this time. Didn't Christ use a whip on the wrongdoers in the temple? Left-wingers, these days, and social workers would say Christ was wrong. I say he was right!
