A BANNED driver who showed a "flagrant disregard for court orders" when he got behind the wheel of a car again twice has been jailed for three months.
Stephen Kent, aged 26, of Roche Crescent, Whitefield, Bury, was found guilty in his absence after failing to turn up for his trial. He was convicted of twice driving while disqualified and without insurance and once with excess alcohol. Kent was also given seven days custody each for three offences of failing to answer bail, to run concurrently with the main jail sentence, and was disqualified for a further 12 months.
