COLIN Hendry, who misses Saturday's Reebok showdown with Sunderland after his dismissal in the Worthington Cup tie against Walsall, was one of a number of Wanderers' first team squad that beat a Leeds Xl 1-0 at the Yorkshire club's training ground on Monday.
Rod Wallace, who has had a sensational first week at the Reebok, got the goal.
Bruno N'Gotty, Ian Marshall, Akinori Nishizawa and Steve Banks were also in action along with Djibril Diawara - a surprise substitute at Arsenal - who confirmed his recovery from a knee injury by completing his first 90 minutes since joining Wanderers from Torino in the summer.
Leeds included Jonathan Woodgate, Michael Duberry and Jason Wilcox.
