AN inquest into the death of a Radcliffe barmaid has been put on hold while a coroner awaits the result of medical tests
Bury District Coroner Barrie Williams, opening the hearing into the death of Susan Treloar, of Dumers Lane, Radcliffe, was also told that a man had been arrested in connection with inquiries and has since been bailed. Although married to a van driver, Mrs Treloar lived alone.
Police went to Mrs Treloar's home on September 8 after she had been found dead by her boyfriend. The body was formally identified by her father, David Blunn, of Moss Hall Road, Heap Bridge, Bury.
The hearing was told that Mrs Treloar, 41, was last employed as a barmaid but was on sickness benefit. A post-mortem examination had been carried out and samples have been sent to Manchester Royal Infirmary for analysis. Mr Williams adjourned the hearing pending the outcome of inquiries.
