A LANDLADY who became worried after not seeing a tenant for days went to his bedsit and found him dead, an inquest was told
Bury District Coroner Barrie Williams was opening the hearing into the death of Radcliffe-born Paul Thomas Burrows at the flat in Walmersley Road.
Mr Burrows, aged 36, had been living at the guest house since July. When he failed to come down for breakfast on September 15, she went to his room.
Mr Burrows was found lying crouched on the floor and apparently dead. Police found no visible injuries and third party involvement was ruled out.
The inquest was told Mr Burrows had a history of drug abuse and after a post mortem examination samples were sent off for analysis. The coroner adjourned the hearing pending the outcome of the tests.
