ON Sunday evening, I was walking home from my son's house and passing the Spa shop on Daubhill, Bolton.
As I got to the shop, there were about nine or 10 youngster aged between 12 and 14 years. They were terrorising a young Asian woman, calling her names and taunting her and trying to stick things on her coat.
I was totally shocked, and started shouting at the top of my voice at them: "That woman didn't kill all those poor people in America, what's wrong with you?"
Of course I only got verbal abuse in return. Wheen are these ignorant people going to realise that not all Muslims are responsible for these latest atrocities, as has been said many times in the last couple of weeks. Muslim is a peaceful religion. Please leave the innocent ones alone. Direct your anger and grief at the evil fanatics like Osama bin Laden and Co.
