ANTHONY Barness, whose amazing toe-poke to deny Thierry Henry a last-gasp winner at Arsenal, says Wanderers are growing in confidence with every point they gain.
Looking forward to Saturday's Reebok clash with Sunderland he said: "We started off with everyone predicting we were going to get hammered in a few games."
The full-back recalls: "Even after the start we had, beating Leicester and Middlesbrough, people were still predicting we'd let a few in.
"But from the first two clean sheets then beating Liverpool and drawing at Leeds, we've seen the confidence grow so that now we feel we can show that it's no fluke.
"We've built a good base and, hopefully, we can take that into the next part of the season."
