PER Frandsen is still in favour with Denmark, despite being on the injury list.
The Wanderers' midfielder, who was in sensational form before damaging ankle ligaments in the home defeat by Southampton, has been named in a 21-man squad for the crucial World Cup qualifier against Iceland in Copenhagen on October 6.
Danes' boss Morten Olsen, who will trim his squad to 18 this weekend, is banking on Frandsen having recovered in time for the crunch game.
Denmark currently top Group Three - two points clear of the Czech Republic and Bulgaria who meet in Prague on the same night - and need only to beat Iceland to secure a place in next summer's finals in Japan and South Korea.
Frandsen returned to the international fold after a 12-month absence earlier this month with an appearance as substitute in the 1-1 home draw with Northern Ireland only to be dropped from the squad for the game in Bulgaria four days later when the Danes won 2-0 to take pole position in the group.
Olsen's public criticism of the midfielder after the Northern Ireland game angered Sam Allardyce but Frandsen's inclusion in the squad suggest no harm was done.
