TWO post office workers were injured during a robbery in Bury yesterday.
Four men burst into the Sunny Bank post office in Sunny Bank Road and threw a concrete block through a security screen before smashing down an access door.
The postmistress was hit on the head by the falling door while a female staff member was cut by flying glass.
Police said the raiders, armed with sledgehammers and a metal bar, escaped with a small amount of cash.
They made their getaway in a blue Rover Vitesse car which was later found abandoned in nearby Heathfield Road.
