A MOTHER and her son were found cowering in fear under the stairs at their home after a domestic incident involving her partner, a court heard.
Phillip Driver, aged 37, of Driver Street, Chesham, Bury, appeared before a District Judge sitting at a combined Rochdale and Bury Magistrates Courts' hearing in Bury when he denied charges of resisting arrest and causing criminal damage.
Those matters were adjourned to a pre-trial review on October 19. Driver, however, admitted a breach of the peace and was bound over in the sum of £200 for 12 months by the judge.
