RAISING money for charity was nothing more than child's play for Bolton youngsters at Toybox Pre-School Nursery.
The children, aged two to five, stepped out to collect cash for the Meningitis Trust and its work with under-fives.
A Toddle Waddle was organised by the Harwood-based Toybox Nursery, on Tottington Road, as part of a national fund-raising awareness week.
The youngsters set off from the nursery and walked to Longsight Park.
Nursery proprietor Hazel Leece, said: "It was quite a long way for the children to walk. Once there we let them have a play on the rides in the park as a treat and then they had to face the uphill walk back.
"They did all walk. None of the children was carried or pushed along. They did enjoy it -- but I think they will all be sleeping well tonight.
"We have had a good response from the parents as well as children and hope to raise more than £100."
