A MAN from Radcliffe who burgled a music shop in Rochdale and then failed to attend court to be sentenced may now be facing prison after being brought before a District Judge on warrant.
Kirk Lee Stott, aged 20, of Radcliffe House, Church Street, appeared before the combined Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Courts' bench sitting in Bury.
He was accused of entering Our Price in Rochdale town centre and stealing a Playstation and compact discs worth £400, and of stealing 30 compact discs, worth £450, belonging to Damien Grimes of Whitworth.
He had admitted the offences and had been remanded on bail pending a pre-sentence report. But Scott failed to attend court and a warrant for his arrest was executed.
He was brought from custody to face the District Judge and admitted a further charge of failing to answer bail.
Stott was remanded on conditional bail while pre-sentence reports, with all options including imprisonment, are made. He was remanded until October 22.
