BOLTON students will be among 600 youngsters to gain an insight into Army life this week.
Pupils from Hayward High School, the Deane School, Bolton Muslim Girls School and Withins School will attend an Army Insight Day at Fulwood Barracks, Preston. The pupils will try physical and mental activities on Wednesday and will talk to recruiters about career opportunities.
Major Mike Winstanley, Army careers adviser, said: "It will give pupils the chance to gain a true taste of Army life, as well as developing their personal and leadership skills."
