A TEENAGER appeared at Bolton Magistrates Court to face charges of burglary.
Lee Worthington, aged 18, of Lonsdale Grove, is accused of entering a garage on Queen Street, Farnworth, on Sunday night and attempting to steal a fishing rod and other angling equipment.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and denied resisting arrest or causing criminal damage.
The case was adjourned for a pretrial review on October 29. Worthington was given conditional bail. He must continue to live at his current address, abide by a 9pm to 6am curfew, and not go to Queen Street.
Worthington was also told he would be fined £100 and awarded six penalty points for driving offences he committed in April this year. He was ordered to pay £50 for a previous bail offence.
