MANCHESTER Airport is axing up to 90 jobs in management, operational and administration areas.
Managing director John Spooner said: "The changes were planned before the recent terrorist attacks but clearly the business imperative is even stronger now.
"If Manchester Airport is to be in the best position to grow over the longer term it has to have a strong emphasis on being the airport of choice for its customers. We need to offer the highest quality of service and best value for money to all our airlines, tour operators and passengers."
