A MAN who drove off after bumping into another car on a supermarket car park was made subject to a 40 hours community punishment order by a district judge sitting at a combined Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Courts hearing in Bury.
Martyn Lees, aged 20, from Lever Street, Radcliffe, had been made subject to pre-sentence reports after he admitted failing to stop after and to report an accident and driving without documents.
Lees, who had a previous record of driving offences, was also banned from driving for six months and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £35 court costs.
