RADCLIFFE Library users are being asked to have just a little more patience as on-going improvements and refurbishments take place.
The creation of a computer learning centre coupled with the installation of a lift for easier access to the first floor has resulted in the main foyer area being closed. As a result, library users have only been able to get in and out of the building through the back door,.
Bury Metro's Arts and Culture Spokesperson, Cllr Siobhan Costello, said: "It was initially hoped to keep the closure of the foyer to a minimum, but that has just not proved possible. Obviously we want to apologise for any inconvenience to users, however once the new facilities are in place, I am sure that everyone will agree these short term difficulties will have been worthwhile."
