I SEE we have come bottom of the league with the Royal Bolton Hospital.
I think we have too many overpaid managers. In fact, too many chiefs and not enough Indians. "Bring back the Matron."
I have been in hospital and still go for treatment. The doctors, nurses and staff are overworked. We are short of beds, so whoever in their right mind is responsible for closing the Infirmary?
It's all about finance and, I know it needed money spending on it, but have you noticed how the Millennium Dome has suddenly gone very quiet and millions of pounds were wasted by the Government on this white elephant? So, somebody with a bit of intellect could have saved the Infirmary and we wouldn't not be struggling for space and beds. It was a disgrace to close it and demolish it.
