NOTTINGHAM Forest's determination to put one over on Wanderers was underlined when in-form striker Stern John pulled out of World Cup action to focus on next Monday's Worthington Cup clash.
The 24-year-old striker has withdrawn from the Trinidad and Tobago squad for Sunday's CONCACAF group qualifier in Honduras because he could not be back in time for the fourth round tie.
Trinidad and Tobago have no chance of qualifying for the finals and John, who has only recently secured a place in Paul Hart's front line, is keen to maintain his run in the team.
Hart, who expects young striker Marlon Harewood to be available again after missing last weekend's game against Stockport with a migraine, is sweating on the fitness of impressive young midfielder Gareth Williams.
The 18-year-old, who has been touted as a target for Rangers, has been forced to pull out of the Scotland U-21 squad with an ankle injury.
