THERE will be a huge family get together in Bolton when children and their parents are urged to attend a host of free events and learn together.
As part of national Family Learning Weekend which runs from Friday October 12 to Sunday October 14, Bolton's Library Service are hosting a series of fun-filled events.
On Saturday October 13 between 11am and noon in the Lecture Theatre of the Central Library there will be an exhibition entitled "100 years of Family Life".
Visitors will be given the chance to hear about families in the past and look at lots of fascinating artefacts.
While on Sunday October 14 there will be a free screening of the children's classic Mathilda based on the book by Roald Dahl.
The screening begins at 10.30am at the Warner Brothers Cinema, Middlebrook.
Also from Friday October 12 until Wednesday October 31 there will be book and film quizzes available at all Bolton libraries.
