DERIAN House Children's Hospice is a charity close to Wanderers' training headquarters at Euxton and even closer to the hearts of the players. Mike Whitlow, who on a visit last year was overwhelmed by the hospice's care for terminally ill youngsters and for their parents, is pictured handing over season tickets on behalf of his team-mates to two of the residents, Colin Owens and Robbie Sloane, and carers, Pat Cronshaw and Janet O'Toole. The Derian House quartet are also pictured with Wanderers' mascot, Lofty.
