AN ANTI-WAR protester has condemned the attacks on Afghanistan, accusing the US and Britain of terrorism.

Malcolm Pittock, Bolton secretary of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, was due to attend a rally in Manchester this evening in a protest against the military strikes.

He was also in Bolton's Victoria Square handing out leaflets urging people to back his Stop the War coalition. Mr Pittock said world leaders should have tried to understand the reasons for the attacks on September 11. He said: "By going all out for military action, we are only causing more innocent civilian deaths."
