IT is only October and already the family dog is scared witless due to the fireworks being set off by mindless individuals. Why can't this practice of celebrating Guy Faulks Night be confined to a small period around November 5 or laws passed to prevent the sale of fireworks to anyone other than registered organised parties. I am not a person who wishes to stop people from enjoying themselves, however I do wish that some thought is given to pets as they cannot understand what is happening at this time of the year.
