IN reply to Mr Grenville Moores letter dated October 6, I say if you are so willing to learn, go into any large bookstore look in the relevant section, preferably without your blinkers on, and you'll see books written by biblical researchers who are infinitely more qualified and broader minded than you to comment on the validity of your precious "Christian scriptures".

These researchers have devoted years to studying the facts relating to the formation of Christianity. Furthermore I don't think they will have bothered to write to the heads of the Christian Churches since you'll find the "powers that be" are already aware of the true facts, particularly concerning the events of the New Testament.

Try to look a little further Mr Moore and refrain from letter writing activities until your reading matter has extended to the work of the biblical researchers and scholars whose numerous works are sitting on bookshelves everywhere but obviously not on yours.

Finally, if I did own a bible, you are perfectly right it would be badly translated, no doubt as badly as yours is. Didn't I make that point in my last letter or do you want specific examples?
