Hulton hit back for a win HULTON Lane had a tremendous 4-3 victory over league leaders Gatehouse.
Gatehouse raced into a 3-1 lead after 25 minutes, with goals from Nightingale (2) and an own goal. Hulton Lane hit back with two goals from Rice plus a Hodgkiss goal just before half time. In the second half both teams missed chances, until Rice notched his hat-trick for Hulton Lane and sealed all three points.
King William went down to a 4-1 home defeat to league leaders Astley Miners. On target for Miners was Cann, Powell and Parkinson.
Farnworth Vets moved into second spot with a 6-4 victory against Masons. Barrow hit a hat-trick for Vets with further goals from Hurst and Fairhurst, Mason replied with goals coming from Fogg, Stokes, Morley and Ashton.
Ellesmere had an excellent 3-2 away victory against Farnworth Royals, Whitley and Slater on target for Ellesmere.
Commercial had a 2-0 away victory against Cattlemarket with goals from Hornby and Rusling.
In Division One Samba still remain top thanks to a 5-2 away victory against Sharples. Stewart, Suttle, Clough and Cover all on target for Samba. Longworth and Vaughan replied for Sharples.
Rigby Taylor went one goal down to GH Maughan, but hit back with 11 goals. Gordon Irving scoring a hat-trick.
Royal Hotel proved to be too strong for Poacher and ran out 9-2 victors.
Queen ran out 3-0 winners over Railway with goals from Jones, Walsh and O'Rourke.
Kings Arms had an excellent 3-2 victory against Faux Forest with goals from Blees, Clayton and Holland.
Great Lever got back to winnings ways with a 4-2 victory against Hitachi, Casaya hitting a hat-trick for Great Lever. Ferguson got the fourth, McCay and Webber replied for Hitachi.
