BLACKROD residents will go to the polls on October 25 following the death of a long-serving town councillor earlier this year.
A by-election will be held to select a replacement for Cllr Lance Watkinson who lost his battle against cancer in July.
Voters can choose from candidates Ian Hamilton for the Liberal Democrats, Michael Hollick for the Conservative party and Isabel Seddon for Labour.
Scot Lane Primary School will be used as the polling station.
