HEALTH Minister Hazel Blears opened a £11.7 million centre in Salford today which will specialise in treating people with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Motor Neurone Disease.
The neurosurgery centre will treat people from all over the North-west, including Bolton, and will be based at Hope Hospital, Salford.
Specialists will see those with complex neurological disorders and the centre will speed up waiting times. The centre was described as "magnificent" by the health minister earlier today.
