RADCLIFFE Boro stage one of highlights of the Unibond Division One calendar on Saturday with big rivals Chorley the visitors to Stainton Park.
The fixture has been brought forward as original opponents Spennymoor United are still involved in the FA Cup and travel to Ramsbottom United, conquerors Whitby Town in the Third Qualifying Round.
Boro manager Kevin Glendon made changes for the midweek League Cup game at Rossendale United and must have been delighted to see his lads romp to a 3-1 win. Boro, currently joint second with Rossendale and Ossett Town a point behind early leaders Eastwood Town, need to be putting together one of those winning sequences that have been Glendon's trademark in his time at the club in order to turn up the heat in the second quarter of the season.
Leading scorer Jody Banim will be restored to the starting line up, having been on the bench on Tuesday when he came on to bang in the third goal, and experienced midfielder Mark Dempsey will enter into the reckoning. Keeper Danny Hurst returns after a one match suspension.
Home clash
Ramsbottom United welcome back utility man Danny Goodall and left back Mike Langhorn after injury for the home clash with St Helens Town.
Mike Kelly's Rams look to build on the sparkling form shown on Tuesday that earned a 1-1 draw at Salford City. New players Simon Sheil and former Rochdale striker Jamie Taylor looked impressive in that game and increase Kelly's strength in depth at the Riverside Ground.
Atherton Colls entertain one of the form teams of the NWCL Division One listing as Woodley Sports visit Alder House for a 3pm kick off.
Having performed impressively in a 2-2 home draw on Monday night with Kidsgrove, Colls look to avenge last season's 4-0 drubbing from Woodley which saw then manager Chris O'Brien depart and Tom Foster and Dennis Haslam take over.
Atherton LR travel to table-toppers Mossley with striker Luke Hardman back from suspension.
Daisy Hill are at home to third from bottom of Division Two Cheadle Town. in the LFA Amateur Challenge Shield Round Two, Atherton Town are at home to Lucas Sports of Liverpool.
