BRITISH Airways' wholly owned subsidiary, British Regional Airlines, is moving its Manchester--Belfast International Airport flights to Belfast City Airport.

The airline operates the majority of British Airways services in Northern Ireland from Belfast City Airport and will transfer the daily Manchester flights from Belfast International to city airport on October 28.

In total, travellers flying to Belfast City Airport will see an increase in flights from Manchester from four to six each weekday.

Mike Bathgate, British Regional Airlines' commercial director, said: "We have operated services from Manchester to both Belfast airports and found the city airport routing to be much more popular amongst business and leisure travellers, due to its location in the heart of the city."
