INNOVATIVE Learning Disability Arts Company, 3D, returns to its home ground of Salford following a tour to Ireland with its latest play, Switching Tracks.
The group encompasses three experienced companies of performers with learning difficulties, and its latest show is a multi media production using dance, drama and video. It explores the themes of transport and change.
It looks at the problems created by a lack of transport and the rules, regulations and routines which stop them doing what they want.
The group is member-led and organises training and workshops. Members belong to the DIY theatre company made up of disabled performers living around Salford, Dodeka, a project based community dance company from Trafford, and Open Door, a drama company based in Trafford.
Its performance at the Salford Playhouse will be on Thursday at 8pm. Tickets, £3.50 or £2 concessions, are from 0161 234 1912.
