VIDEO evidence shows Mr Riley and his assistant got it wrong on the vital first goal - another refereeing mistake that would prove so costly. The deafening jeers at half time and the end let him know it.

Magic Moment

AT 2-0 down and defeat almost inevitable, the noise reached a crescendo, the atmosphere was electric. It proved in vain but it was a most uplifting experience.
