ALLOW me to thank, with the utmost sincerity, all those people who stopped, stayed, and helped when I fell in Knowsley Street on Wednesday morning, October 10.
Some did not give their names, but all have my gratitude, including the lady from the Scholl Shop, people from the nearby cars, the lady who called for an ambulance, and Ian, who kindly held my hand.
My further thanks and admiration, go to the ladies and gentlemen who perform with patience and skill, all those tasks, from the ambulance arriving up to being discharged from the Accident and Emergency Department of the Royal Bolton Hospital. And all of this with respect and attention given to me as an individual, as a natural part of their jobs.
