INVITATIONS have been sent to leaders of all faiths to the 101st anniversary celebration concert at the Victoria Hall on Saturday, October 20.
The intention is to make the event for all the community.
Members of the united Christian Singers, The Brinsall Singers, Eccleston Good News Choir and the Haslingden Ecumenical Choir will join together to perform Brian Hoare's piece, New Creation.
There will be 300 voices united in song at the event, accompanied by Geoff Ogden on piano and Martin Colam on keyboard.
Other entertainment will come from Bolton Music Service's Youth Clarinet Ensemble, actors from the Christian drama group, PAIS, and dancers from the Anna Christie School of Dance.
Brian Hoare, the composer, and ex-president of the Methodist Conference, will narrate, and Janet Kennedy, BBC GMR presenter, will host the event. Money raised goes to the National Children's Homes and Methodist Homes for the Aged.
Tickets, £5, children £2, are available on the door, or from TV and Video Direct on Knowsley Street, Bolton, and from Booth's Music on Churchgate, Bolton. Further details are from Reg Parry 526862.
