POLICE have warned motorists not to leave property unattended in their vehicles after a spate of car crime in Turton last week.
Three vehicles parked in the car park of the King William pub in Chapeltown Road, Bromley Cross, were targeted by thieves on Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
Thieves broke into a Renault Megane and stole 10 compact discs on Tuesday between 9.30pm and 11pm.
A Seat Ibiza and a Vauxhall Vectra were targeted on Wednesday. No property was taken.
Sgt Andrea Bradbury of Darwen Police said: "Motorists should make sure their vehicles are secure and nothing is left inside which could attract attention."
